In der üblichen Version ist es das Ziel, ein 9×9-Gitter mit den Ziffern 1 bis 9 so zu füllen, dass jede Ziffer in jeder Spalte, in jeder Zeile und in jedem Block (3×3-Unterquadrat) genau einmal vorkommt.
Ausgangspunkt ist ein Gitter, in dem bereits mehrere Ziffern vorgegeben sind.

"Seems like a drastic change from the basic open sudoku. The error tracking and correct placement indication make the more difficult puzzles much easier to solve, however this is now an option as of the latest update, so you can solve them entirely on your own now. The timer function is now working while solving the puzzles but on the final scoreboard the time is reported as only three digits. That will probably be fixed on the next update. Changes and updates make this app worth having now!"
